Threaded Inserts for Rubber

Rubber applications typically consist of use of molded-in inserts. After a metal insert is placed into the cavity of a mold, heated rubber is injected, and encases and hardens around the insert. Pressed-in installation is also possible, where a pressed-in threaded insert is inserted into a hole in the cool rubber.
