Installation Using Yardley - Pneumatic Inserters

The YARDLEY BENCH MODEL PNEUMATIC INSERTER installs self-tapping inserts at the rate of more than 800 per hour, setting them permanently with the base material. The operation is simple. While depressing the tongue simply hold the insert to the stud allowing it to thread on. Bring the tool down to the work piece tapping the insert in. Press the button to reverse the stud. Bring the tool up and repeat. It’s that easy!

Change Over Kit is available. To allow use of additional thread sizes with pneumatic inserters. Each thread size requires an additional changeover kit.

FIELD REPAIR

Yardley Inserts can be installed with a bolt and jam nut for field repairs or experimental work. The bolt is threaded into the insert and the nut is tightened against the insert. Taking special care that it is properly aligned, the insert is then driven flush. The nut is then loosened while holding the bolt, and the bolt and nut are backed out.
